Hankook Tire & Technology wins International Motors' Diamond Supplier Award

Hankook Tire & Technology announced Wednesday that it has received the 2026 Diamond Supplier Award from International Motors, a US commercial vehicle manufacturer.

The Diamond Supplier Award is International Motors' highest honor for partner companies, recognizing suppliers that have achieved outstanding results in key areas including technology, quality, delivery, cost and sustainability. International Motors works with approximately 1,500 suppliers worldwide and presents the award to 10 companies each year.

Hankook Tire has supplied commercial vehicle tires to International Motors since 2013, maintaining a partnership of more than a decade. It provides steer and drive axle tires for medium- and heavy-duty trucks as well as for the IC Bus platform, a subsidiary of International Motors.

Key products supplied include the Smart AH37, a medium- to long-haul tire, and the Smart DH37, a medium- to long-haul drive axle tire — both part of the Smart truck and bus tire (TBR) brand.

Hankook Tire has continued to supply tire solutions certified under the US Environmental Protection Agency's SmartWay program, contributing to lower operating costs and reduced emissions for commercial fleet operators through improved fuel efficiency and transport efficiency.

"This award again demonstrates our technological capability and quality competitiveness in the global TBR market," a Hankook Tire official said. "We will continue to expand strategic partnerships with global commercial vehicle manufacturers and further strengthen our position in the North American commercial vehicle market through ongoing technological innovation and enhanced quality competitiveness."

Meanwhile, Hankook Tire is set to participate in IAA Transportation 2026, the world's largest commercial vehicle exhibition, to be held in Hanover, Germany, from Sept. 15 to 20 (local time), where it will showcase its latest TBR technologies and products.
