Former Miss Korea and actor Kim Min-kyung welcomes baby boy weighing 2.72 kg

Former Miss Korea and actor Kim Min-kyung has welcomed the baby boy she teased in an earlier post with the words "see you soon."

Kim shared a black-and-white photo on her Instagram account Tuesday showing herself after giving birth.

In the image, she is lying in what appears to be a hospital bed with her wrist raised toward the camera.

A bracelet on her wrist reads "September 2026," "male" and "2.72 kg."

The post drew a flood of congratulatory comments, including "You've finally met," "So exciting," "Huge congratulations" and "Wishing both mom and baby good health and happiness."

In an earlier post, Kim had shared a full-term pregnancy photo and written that she could no longer tell whether her belly button had popped, adding the hashtag "see you soon."

Kim has appeared in numerous productions, including the KBS 2TV drama series "Seven Princesses" and "Temptation of Wife," the JTBC drama series "Padam Padam" and "No Offspring, No Worries," and the MBC drama series "Eve's Love." She has also connected with fans through the films "The Assassin" and "Moonwalk."
