Last admission moves from 8 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. starting Wednesday
Pocheon announced Wednesday that last admission to the Hantan River Media Art Park "Terra Fantasia" will move up 30 minutes, from 8 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., effective Wednesday.
The adjustment reflects earlier autumn sunsets. The city expects tourists to enjoy the Hantan River's fall scenery at dusk alongside the media art installations, adding a fresh draw for nighttime tourism.
The park's signature attraction, "Light Volcano," pairs large-scale media facade projections on an exterior wall with music, set against the natural landscape of the Hantan River.
To make wait times more enjoyable, the city plans to offer on-site programs including street performances, turning the queue into part of the experience.
"Starting in September, it is the best season to enjoy both the beautiful autumn scenery of the Hantan River and the media art of Terra Fantasia," said Hwang Dong-min, head of the tourism division. "We will offer a variety of programs and more comfortable, satisfying nighttime tourism so the park can establish itself as a new nighttime destination."
