Shin Jung-hwan reveals Tak Jae-hoon had a crush on Kim Hyun-jung — and says his former sister-in-law looked just like her

Broadcaster Shin Jung-hwan has revealed that Tak Jae-hoon once had a crush on singer Kim Hyun-jung.

A video titled "Take it all back to those days — long-legged beauty Kim Hyun-jung" was posted Wednesday on the YouTube channel "Daktershin."

Sitting down with Kim to reminisce, Shin said that although their careers had overlapped for a long time, the two had never once met in a private setting.

Kim responded with surprise. "It's like a complete black hole," she said. "In nearly 30 years in the industry, I've run into Tak Jae-hoon oppa many times, but never Shin Jung-hwan."

Shin then dropped a revelation: "Do you know why that is? It's because Jae-hoon liked you." Kim played it cool, replying, "I already knew that."

Shin added that Tak had always been drawn to Kim's type, and said that was precisely why Tak never invited him along when they might have crossed paths in private.

When Kim asked, "Why didn't he invite you? Did you like me too?" a flustered Shin deflected: "Who wasn't a fan of Kim Hyun-jung?" He then added that his former sister-in-law resembled Kim.

Kim also addressed her relationship with Tak, saying the two had never met one-on-one. "Every time we met, it was in groups of five or six," she said.
