'Partzone Green' merges with main app, letting users search and buy new and used parts in one place
Partzone, a vehicle management platform, is stepping up efforts to promote the reuse of auto parts and encourage resource recycling.
The company said Friday it has integrated its main "Partzone" service and its used-parts specialist service "Partzone Green" into a single Partzone app.
Users can enter a license plate number or vehicle identification number to search for compatible parts, then book repairs and manage purchases all in one place. With the integration, customers can now search and buy not only new consumable parts but also used interior and exterior components through the same app.
The consolidation is expected to reduce auto parts waste and accelerate reuse. Partzone serves both individual drivers and business customers — including auto repair shops and service centers — by offering a broader range of parts options. The company plans to expand the resource-recycling ecosystem in the automotive aftermarket by boosting the distribution of used parts.
Partzone is also pursuing the digital transformation of the aftermarket, drawing on AI technology and its own proprietary parts database. Its vehicle-specific parts matching system incorporates the company's patented GPID (Global Parts Identification Data) technology.
By combining the GPID database with an AI-based recommendation algorithm, the platform can precisely identify compatible products from among hundreds of thousands of parts. This allows even customers unfamiliar with vehicles or auto components to find the right parts for their car quickly and accurately.
"With our proprietary GPID data, related patent technology and advanced AI, even people who are not familiar with cars can easily and accurately manage their vehicle's entire lifecycle," the company said.
