BYD Korea announced Friday that it has officially opened the BYD Auto Yongin showroom in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, a key hub in the southern part of the province.

The new showroom spans 989.44 square meters and can display up to six vehicles at once. A BYD Auto Yongin service center is set to open at the same location in mid-September.

The facility will operate as a "3S" integrated hub — offering sales consultations, spare parts and service all under one roof. BYD says the setup will improve accessibility and convenience for customers in Yongin and across southern Gyeonggi Province.

DT Networks, the official BYD dealer managing the showroom and service center, has prepared a range of promotional events to mark the opening. All visitors will receive a BYD reusable bag; customers who complete a test drive will get a BYD umbrella; and those who take delivery of a vehicle will receive a BYD carry-on travel bag. The dealer also plans test-drive sessions and customer engagement programs to give Yongin residents a hands-on experience with BYD's brand and lineup.

"The BYD Auto Yongin showroom and service center will go beyond simply selling cars — with the showroom and service center integrated into one, it will serve as a key strategic hub delivering a higher level of maintenance service and brand trust to customers in southern Gyeonggi Province," said DT Networks Chief Executive Kwon Hyeok-min. "We will mobilize every capability we have to ensure customers feel complete satisfaction at every stage, from purchase through after-sales care."

A BYD Korea official said the company is "consistently expanding its nationwide network so that customers can experience BYD closer to where they live," adding that it will "continue to strengthen the regional customer experience alongside the quantitative growth of the network, so that customers considering electric vehicles can encounter BYD in their daily lives and deepen their understanding of its products and technology."

Meanwhile, BYD Korea has been actively expanding its showroom and service network to reach more customers, having recently opened the BYD Auto Pyeongtaek showroom — its 37th passenger-vehicle showroom.
