'Feel the performance yourself': Mercedes-Benz Korea launches second-half AMG and SUV driving experience programs

Mercedes-Benz Korea announced Friday it is launching the second-half 2026 programs for two experiential driving series: the Mercedes-AMG Experience, which lets participants feel the performance of AMG vehicles firsthand, and the Mercedes-Benz SUV Experience, focused on off-road driving capability.

The Mercedes-AMG Experience takes place at AMG Speedway in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, where professional instructors guide participants through a range of driving techniques and the high-performance, dynamic character of AMG vehicles. Depending on skill level and program type, participants can choose from four tiers: AMG Discover, AMG Performance, AMG Advanced and AMG Night Circuit.

The program features a broad AMG lineup designed to deliver an exhilarating driving experience. Participants can get behind the wheel of the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance, which pairs a high-performance hybrid system with commanding track capability, as well as the GT 55 4MATIC+, powered by an explosive V8 engine with racing DNA. New to the second half of this year is the GT 43 4MATIC+, which combines agility and efficiency, giving participants the chance to experience the full range of the AMG GT lineup.

The lineup also includes the open-top Mercedes-AMG SL 43 and SL 63 4MATIC+, which blend luxury roadster character with high-performance driving, along with the A 45 and CLA 45, which deliver spirited fun through turbocharged power and nimble handling.

Alongside the expanded vehicle lineup, the entry-level AMG Discover program has been enhanced. On-road driving near AMG Speedway has been added, allowing participants to experience AMG performance not only on the track but also in everyday road conditions.

The Mercedes-Benz SUV Experience is held at the Mercedes-Benz SUV Experience Center, South Korea's largest permanent off-road course built on natural terrain. Participants navigate slopes of varying angles, surfaces including rock, sand and gravel, and obstacles such as wooden bumps and water pools, putting the SUV's traction and the G-Class's off-road capability to the test.

The program runs in three configurations based on participant interest and goals: SUV Driving, which covers a range of SUVs including the GLE and GLS; G Driving, which spans the full domestic G-Class lineup from the G 450 d to the all-electric G 580 and the high-performance Mercedes-AMG G 63; and SUV + G Driving, which lets participants compare the distinct driving characteristics of both ranges in a single session.

For the second half of this year, the high-performance Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 4MATIC+, launched in March, has been added to strengthen the top-tier SUV lineup. On-road driving near the center has also been introduced.

Both programs are open to anyone aged 18 or older holding a valid Korean or international driver's license. Reservations can be made through Naver Booking.

Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz Korea is running a range of marketing activities to expand customer touchpoints, including a prize giveaway event throughout September for customers who request a purchase consultation through its online sales platform, the Benz Store.
