Company says new models feature UF and RO filters with large-capacity tanks
Kyowon Wells, a small home appliance company, has released upgraded versions of two mid-to-large standing water purifiers for commercial use.
The lineup comprises the Wells Mineral Mid-Large Stand Plus, equipped with a UF (ultrafiltration) filter, and the Wells RO Mid-Large Stand Plus, equipped with an RO (reverse osmosis) filter. Customers can choose between the two based on their operating environment and preference.
Both models offer larger tank capacities while reducing the overall unit size. Storage capacity has grown compared with previous models — by 3 liters for the mineral model and about 1 liter for the RO model. The mineral model delivers a combined 23.3 liters continuously, comprising 7 liters of cold water, 12.3 liters of purified water and 4 liters of hot water. The RO model provides a total of 20.8 liters — 7 liters, 9.8 liters and 4 liters respectively. Kyowon Wells said the units also feature high-volume purification performance while trimming the width to 30 centimeters, minimizing the installation footprint and improving space efficiency.
Usability has also been improved: the dispensing spout has been raised to 27 centimeters to accommodate frequent use of tumblers and water bottles. The company added that the dispensing lever is three times larger than on previous models, reducing the hassle of precisely aligning containers.
"We improved dispensing capacity, space efficiency and ease of use to reflect the characteristics of high-traffic facilities," a company official said. "We will expand our B2B market with products and management services tailored to the diverse needs of corporate customers."
