Berlin Mayor Karsten Wildberger visited the LG Electronics exhibition at IFA 2026, Europe's largest consumer electronics show, which opened Friday (local time) in Berlin.
Wildberger, who stopped by the LG Electronics booth as the final stop on his IFA floor tour, praised it as "the perfect booth to wrap up my IFA 2026 tour." IFA CEO Leif Lindner accompanied the mayor during the visit.
Wildberger showed particular interest in LG Cloid, a home robot that conducted an AI orchestra at the booth.
"I was deeply impressed by the booth and the Cloid presentation," he said, going on to ask detailed questions about specific features, including the robot's ability to fold laundry and whether it could be used to run training centers.
Meanwhile, LG Electronics set up the largest booth among the roughly 60 South Korean companies participating in IFA 2026, occupying 3,745 square meters, reinforcing its standing as a global home appliance leader.
