Lee Sang-soon sends mangoes to radio crew while recovering from vagus nerve condition

Singer and guitarist Lee Sang-soon, husband of singer Lee Hyori, showed his thoughtfulness toward his radio production crew even as he recovers from a vagus nerve dysfunction diagnosis.

The production team of MBC FM4U's "A Perfect Day with Lee Sang-soon" shared photos on Instagram on Monday of mangoes sent by Lee.

The photos showed several carefully packaged mangoes filling four shopping bags.

"Waiting for Sundi to recover and return," the crew wrote, using Lee's nickname, adding that they were sharing photos of the mangoes he had sent for the team.

"Please wait along with 'A Perfect Day' until Sundi's condition improves," the post continued. "We are truly grateful for the warm care and concern you show him."

Lee's agency Antenna announced Sunday on Instagram that Lee had received medical treatment following a sudden decline in his condition, and that he was temporarily stepping away from his radio hosting duties on the advice of doctors who said he needed rest due to vagus nerve dysfunction.

The agency said it would fully support Lee so he could focus entirely on his recovery, adding that future schedules would be adjusted flexibly based on his progress.

Lee also posted on his own Instagram account, saying doctors told him he could gradually recover with sufficient rest. "I will take this opportunity to spend enough time getting my health back properly," he wrote. "I will also do a thorough check of my overall condition and make sure I fully recover before returning to you in good shape."
