Wilshire Korea Appraisal Signs Business Rights and Brand License Deal With US Wilshire ABC Realty Group

Wilshire Korea Appraisal Corp. has signed a business rights and brand license agreement with US real estate appraisal and brokerage firm Wilshire ABC Realty Group.

Under the agreement, Wilshire Korea Appraisal will continue conducting property appraisals and asset valuations in South Korea while expanding into real estate acquisition, sales and investment advisory services within the bounds permitted by law. The Korean firm will also be authorized to use the US company's brand domestically, with trademark application and registration details to be worked out between the two sides at a later date.

The two companies plan to combine Korean appraisal expertise with Wilshire ABC Realty Group's US network to offer real estate services to customers in both countries. Wilshire Korea Appraisal said it would maintain the independence and impartiality of its appraisal operations following the agreement.

"This is a strategic partnership that brings together appraisal experience and networks from both countries," a Wilshire ABC Realty Group official said. "We will guarantee the Korean firm's autonomy so that it can carry out appraisal work independently and impartially."

"We expect to offer customers a broader range of services by adding an overseas network to the expertise we have built domestically," a Wilshire Korea Appraisal official said.

Wilshire Korea Appraisal was licensed and launched on May 8, and the company says it currently employs 11 certified appraisers. Its work includes the appraisal for the Sinan Villa reconstruction project in Gangseo-gu, as well as appraisals and consulting related to compensation, sales and litigation.

Wilshire ABC Realty Group has supported the growth of clients and partners worldwide in appraisal, brokerage and consulting since 1990, operating through a range of affiliates including California Wilshire Appraisal.
