Air Busan announced Thursday that it will participate in the 2026 Aviation Travel Market, a two-day event to be held Saturday and Sunday at the concourse of Centum City Station on Busan Metro Line 2.

The 2026 Aviation Travel Market is co-organized by the city of Busan and Korea Airports Corporation to boost international passenger demand and revitalize the regional aviation and travel industry. Air Busan has taken part every year since the event launched in 2020.

At this year's event, Air Busan will spotlight its Busan–Matsuyama route, the only direct service between Gimhae Airport and Ehime Prefecture, Japan. The airline's booth will feature capsule-toy draws, prize roulette wheels and other activities open to all visitors. Prizes include free round-trip tickets to Matsuyama, flight discount coupons and merchandise such as keycap keyrings and Air Busan hoodies.

"We have put together a full lineup of benefits and fun for residents visiting the aviation travel market over the weekend," an Air Busan official said. "We will continue to work alongside the local community to help energize regional tourism and the aviation industry."

Meanwhile, Air Busan will launch a new Busan–Chiang Mai service beginning Nov. 11. The route will operate four times a week — on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays — departing Gimhae International Airport at 7 p.m. and arriving at Chiang Mai International Airport at 10:55 p.m. The return flight departs Chiang Mai at 11:55 p.m. and lands at Gimhae at 7:05 a.m. the following day.

"Along with the new Chiang Mai service, we plan to introduce a variety of routes suited to customer demand and travel trends this winter season," the official said. "We will keep offering customers new travel options and continue diversifying our network in line with evolving travel demand."
