The Korea Proptech Forum will host a conference to discuss how AI technology is reshaping the real estate and construction industries and how companies are responding.

The forum said Tuesday the 2026 Proptech AI Vision Conference will be held Nov. 10 under the theme "The Next Step for Proptech: AI's Great Transformation and the Future of the Industry."

The annual event brings together companies, government agencies, related institutions and industry experts to discuss trends and growth prospects. This year's program centers on real-world AI applications in asset management, construction and architectural design, as well as the growth potential of companies in those fields.

The first session will cover industry-wide changes driven by AI adoption and how individual companies are adapting. Oh Seok-jae, chief technology officer of R Square, will outline corporate AI transformation strategies.

The second session will examine specific technology applications across different segments of the spatial industry. Kwon Sun-il, a managing director at IGIS Asset Management, will discuss AI use cases in office building operations; Oh Kyeong-geun, a team leader at Woomi Construction, will share how AI is being applied on construction sites; and Lee Jong-jun, a director at Samwoo General Architects, will present on location analysis using virtual agents and the potential for AI in architectural design.

An "AI Vision Talk Show" will follow, moderated by Song In-hyeok, chief executive of Unique Good Company. Panelists — Gu Reum, CEO of BigValue; Jeon Ju-hyeong, CEO of Edit Collective; and Lee Seung-oh, CEO of TrustStay — will discuss the changes and challenges that have emerged as companies integrate AI into their operations.

Bae Seok-hun, chairman of the Korea Proptech Forum, said AI has moved beyond simple technology adoption to become a pivotal turning point that is changing how companies work and how industries compete. "We hope this conference will serve as an opportunity to examine the AI experiences of proptech companies and the changes taking place on the ground, and to connect new technologies with business opportunities," Bae said.

Meanwhile, the Korea Proptech Forum, which counts 342 proptech companies among its members, recently published a report titled "AI Status and Strategies of Proptech Startups." The report covers the current state of AI adoption among domestic proptech startups and their plans for future investment.
