Logistics firm recognized for on-site marketing logistics and lifestyle-focused ESG efforts
Company aims to become comprehensive logistics solution provider helping clients succeed
Hanjin announced Tuesday that it has received the 2026 Brand of the Year award from the Korean Advertising Society.
The society held the awards ceremony Friday at the Grand Ballroom of Paradise Hotel in Busan, where it presented Hanjin with the trophy. The Brand of the Year award is a prestigious honor given to companies that have achieved customer satisfaction through marketing communications while demonstrating differentiated brand value and social responsibility.
Hanjin was recognized for strengthening its brand competitiveness across both consumer and industrial logistics — going beyond simple freight transport to connect customers' business success and add new value to everyday life as a comprehensive logistics solution provider.
Celebrating its 81st anniversary this year, Hanjin has significantly lowered the logistics barrier for small and medium-sized businesses through One Click, a one-stop delivery platform for small merchants. The company also supports domestic brands in entering overseas markets through SWOOP, a service backing K-fashion brands' global expansion, and through its role as an executing agency for government support projects.
In addition, Hanjin has proactively built fulfillment infrastructure at key overseas locations — led by the Global Distribution Center at Incheon Airport and extending to Los Angeles, Toronto and Europe (the Netherlands and the United Kingdom) — to help K-beauty and fashion brands enter foreign markets quickly and reliably.
The company also took sole charge of logistics for a K-beauty pop-up event on Omotesando in Tokyo, expanding local touchpoints, and has cemented its role as a key partner at major customer events by flawlessly handling official logistics for the Seoul Marathon and transporting precision broadcast equipment for international sporting events.
Hanjin's lifestyle-oriented ESG (environmental, social and governance) activities linked to its logistics network also drew high marks. Working with the Ministry of Health and Welfare and other partners, the company distributed box tape printed with counseling hotline numbers and delivered donations to support at-risk pregnant women. It has also been broadening engagement with younger generations through its flagship CSR program Love Connect, participation in the eco-friendly Earth Hour campaign, and sponsorship of Hanjin Brion, an esports team competing in the LCK league.
"This award is the fruit of our evolution into a comprehensive logistics solution provider that helps customers — from small business owners to global K-brands — succeed in their businesses, going far beyond simple transport," Hanjin President Cho Hyun-min said. "We will continue to establish ourselves as a brand that adds differentiated value to customers' daily lives and businesses, backed by a solid logistics infrastructure spanning both domestic and international markets."
Meanwhile, Hanjin recently held its 2026 Second-Half One Click Connect event at Dreum Forest Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, aimed at helping domestic e-commerce sellers expand into overseas markets and sharpen their marketing and logistics competitiveness. One Click Connect is a mutual-growth program Hanjin runs twice a year.
