Actors Bae Na-ra and Han Jae-a to wed Nov. 14

Actors Bae Na-ra, 35, and Han Jae-a — whose legal name is Jo Yeon-jeong, 34 — will marry this month.

YY Entertainment, Bae's agency, and Big Boss Entertainment, Han's agency, announced Tuesday that the two will hold a private wedding ceremony on Nov. 14 at Oksu-dong Cathedral in Seoul.

Bae shared the news on personal social media, writing, "I have found someone precious whom I want to walk through life with." Bae added, "We have promised to share the brightest smiles in moments of joy, to be each other's quiet pillar of strength when we are weary and struggling, and to build the rest of our lives together."

"Going forward, I will strive to live fiercely and sincerely as both an actor and the head of a family," Bae wrote. "It would make me endlessly happy if you could bless this new beginning of mine with warm hearts."

Han also posted on social media, saying, "I have found someone who will stand firmly by my side not only in joyful moments but also on difficult days, and we have promised to spend our time together cherishing and leaning on each other." Han added, "As an actor, my heart toward my work and the people around me will remain unchanged — I will continue walking my path quietly and sincerely."

Bae debuted in the 2013 musical "Promise" and went on to appear in musicals including "Grease" (2019–2020) and "Thrill Me" (2021). Bae later drew attention for playing Jang Seong-min (Nina), an LGBTQ+ deserter, in "D.P." Season 2 (2023), and also appeared on the MBC variety show "I Live Alone."

Han debuted in the 2017 musical "Hamlet: Alive" and has since appeared in a range of productions, including "Maybe Happy Ending" (2021), "West Side Story" (2022) and "Kinky Boots" (2025–2026). In 2021, Han received the rookie actress award at the 5th Korea Musical Awards.
