Second installment of 'Dongbu Synergy Series' follows September insight lecture
Dongbu held a trekking event along the Seoul Hanyangdoseong trail, bringing together headquarters and Greater Seoul field staff to strengthen communication and cooperation, the company announced Wednesday.
The event was the second installment of the "Dongbu Synergy Series," following an insight lecture held in September. It was organized to expand exchanges between headquarters and field operations and to give employees an opportunity to recharge.
Participants walked the Hanyangdoseong trail together, sharing their respective roles and upcoming tasks in pursuit of this year's business targets. After the trek, they shared a meal and exchanged thoughts on the event and their field experiences.
Dongbu said it plans to expand interaction between headquarters and field staff, taking into account the collaborative nature of the construction industry, which requires coordination across different teams including procurement, project management, construction, and safety and quality control.
"Headquarters and field staff work in different spaces and play different roles, but they are colleagues who build the company's results together," a Dongbu official said. "We hope this event serves as an opportunity to understand each other's perspectives and efforts, and to collaborate more closely in day-to-day work."
Dongbu said it plans to continue the "Dongbu Synergy Series" — which includes insight lectures and cultural events — to further expand exchanges between departments and field teams.
Meanwhile, Dongbu is preparing to launch pre-sales for Nam Chuncheon Centreville, a 264-unit residential complex of up to 39 stories in Hyoja-dong, Chuncheon, Gangwon Province. The development marks the first new apartment supply in Hyoja-dong in four years and will feature AI-based residential services and a sky community, among other specialized design elements.
