Coffee cart surprise follows roundtable at southern Gyeonggi office
Korea Land and Housing Corporation President Lee Seong-hun held a staff communication event, the "LH Roundtable," at the LH Southern Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters on Friday, sitting down with frontline employees to hear their concerns and offer encouragement.
The event was organized to recognize the efforts of employees quietly carrying out the government's housing supply expansion policy on the front lines, and to strengthen company-wide cohesion under the "LH One Team" initiative.
At the roundtable, Lee listened openly to the practical difficulties and challenges staff face in the field, and discussed concrete ideas and tasks for improving on-site conditions.
Following the meeting, Lee organized a surprise coffee cart event during the lunch break, personally handing out coffee and snacks to employees along with words of support and encouragement.
"The answer to successfully implementing the government's housing supply expansion policy ultimately lies in the field, and our employees who work that field directly are the most important driving force behind policy execution — so I will spare no effort in giving them full support," Lee said. "I will broaden the channels of communication so that management and frontline staff alike can move forward together as one team with one goal."
Lee also hosted a "Residential Welfare Public Forum" on Thursday at a youth rental housing complex in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, where he listened to young residents share their housing concerns and firsthand experiences.
