Lee calls for thorough investigation into cause, measures to prevent recurrence

President Lee Jae Myung on Monday ordered authorities to mobilize all available resources for rescue and recovery operations after an explosion struck a factory research laboratory in Daejeon.
Cheong Wa Dae chief spokesperson Kang Yu-jung conveyed the directive in an official announcement.
Lee also instructed officials to thoroughly investigate the cause of the accident and draw up measures to prevent a recurrence, Kang added.
The blast occurred at a Hanwha Aerospace factory in Oesamdong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon. Four people have been killed and two others sustained full-body burns, police said.
