Keimyung Culture University, Angelo State University sign MOU to develop global talent

Keimyung Culture University signed an international exchange agreement with Angelo State University (ASU) in Texas on May 28 to develop globally competitive graduates. The signing ceremony was held at Yuhan University's main conference room.

Six South Korean junior colleges — Keimyung Culture University, Gimpo University, Dongyang Mirae University, Osan University, Yuhan University and Jaeneung University — joined the agreement as a three-way MOU among each participating college, ASU and ASU Korea.

Angelo State University is a public university in San Angelo, Texas, and a member institution of the Texas Tech University System.

Under the agreement, students at the six partner colleges are guaranteed transfer admission to ASU upon graduation and will be eligible for in-state tuition rates — the same rates charged to Texas residents.

"We will continue to expand partnerships with leading universities abroad to strengthen our students' global competitiveness," said Park Seung-ho, president of Keimyung Culture University.
