2026 Gyeongsan Cafe Festival to open June 27

The Gyeongsan Culture and Tourism Foundation announced Monday that the 2026 Gyeongsan Cafe Festival will run for five days from June 27 through July 1 at the Namcheon riverside park and 20 participating cafes across the city.

The festival combines Gyeongsan's thriving cafe scene with "Sinbi peach," a locally grown specialty available for only two weeks a year.

This year, cafes from across the city will fill the festival grounds with the aroma of coffee. Working with the Gyeongsan Agricultural Products Processing Support Center, each participating cafe will showcase its own lineup of Sinbi peach-inspired beverages and desserts.

A direct-sale booth and free tasting corner for Sinbi peaches will also operate on-site, promoting consumption of locally grown produce.

A stamp tour event will connect the main stage at the Namcheon riverside park with participating cafes throughout the city.

Cultural and arts programs will run continuously across the main stage and cafe venues, including a retro LP music cafe, a Gyeongsan barista competition and a children's art contest — offering something for visitors of all ages.

Cho Hyeon-il, chairman of the Gyeongsan Culture and Tourism Foundation and mayor of Gyeongsan, said he hoped visitors would come to the Namcheon riverside park with family, partners and friends to enjoy fragrant coffee, sweet Sinbi peaches and the chance to win prizes.
