Lotte Card on Tuesday launched "Samsung Subscription N Loca," a credit card that offers discounts on Samsung Electronics subscription fees, including the AI Subscription Club service.
The card provides automatic payment discounts on Samsung Electronics subscription fees and a 2 percent discount on overseas purchases.
Cardholders who spent 500,000 won or more in the previous month receive a monthly discount of 15,000 won on their Samsung Electronics subscription fee. Those who spent 1 million won or more receive 20,000 won off, and those who spent 2 million won or more receive 27,000 won off.
For purchases at overseas merchants, the card offers a 2 percent discount on the transaction amount — up to 20,000 won per month — regardless of the previous month's spending.
The American Express (Amex) brand version of the card provides additional discounts of 7,000 won, 6,000 won and 3,000 won, respectively, for cardholders whose previous month's spending reached 500,000 won, 1 million won and 2 million won or more.
Through July 31, customers who spend 100,000 won or more with the card will receive a 20,000 won cashback. Applications are available through the Lotte Card DigiLoca app or the company's website. The annual fee is 20,000 won.
