Card offers discounts on Samsung Electronics AI subscription club and other subscription services, up to 27,000 won ($17) per month; annual fee 20,000 won
Lotte Card announced Tuesday it has launched the "Samsung Subscription N Loca" card, a co-branded product that discounts Samsung Electronics subscription fees, including those for the AI subscription club.
The card discounts Samsung Electronics subscription fees paid through automatic billing and offers a 2 percent discount on overseas purchases. Cardholders who spent 500,000 won or more the previous month receive a monthly discount of 15,000 won on their subscription fees; those who spent 1 million won or more receive 20,000 won; and those who spent 2 million won or more receive 27,000 won ($17).
For purchases at overseas merchants, the card offers a 2 percent discount on the transaction amount — up to 20,000 won per month — regardless of the previous month's spending. The American Express (Amex) version provides additional discounts of 7,000 won, 6,000 won and 3,000 won for cardholders who spent 500,000 won, 1 million won and 2 million won or more, respectively, the previous month. Through July 31, cardholders who spend 100,000 won or more will receive a 20,000 won cashback. Applications are available through the Lotte Card Digiloca app or its website. The annual fee is 20,000 won.
