Card offers up to 55,000 won ($40) in monthly discounts with a 15,000 won annual fee
Samsung Card announced Friday that it has launched the "Lotte Home Shopping Samsung Card" in partnership with Lotte Home Shopping.
The card targets frequent Lotte Home Shopping customers, combining shopping-specific discounts with everyday lifestyle benefits covering supermarkets, gas stations, medical services and coffee shops.
Cardholders receive a 7 percent discount on purchases made through the Lotte Home Shopping website, app and automated phone payment system, with monthly savings capped at 25,000 won. The card also offers a 5 percent discount — up to 10,000 won per month — at offline discount retailers including E-mart, Traders Wholesale Club, Lotte Mart and Nonghyup Hanaro Mart, as well as at gas stations.
Medical and pharmacy spending, including at clinics, hospitals and veterinary offices, earns a 10 percent discount of up to 10,000 won per month. Purchases at major coffee shops and convenience stores receive a 10 percent discount capped at 5,000 won monthly, while online food delivery services and digital content subscriptions qualify for a 20 percent discount of up to 5,000 won per month.
Overseas transactions earn a flat 1.5 percent discount with no restrictions on prior-month spending or discount limits. All other domestic benefits apply when the cardholder spends at least 400,000 won in the previous month. The annual fee is 15,000 won for the Visa version. Full details are available on the Samsung Card website and the Monimo app.
"The Lotte Home Shopping Samsung Card combines shopping rewards tailored to loyal Lotte Home Shopping customers with discounts across everyday spending categories," a Samsung Card official said. "We will continue to develop practical products in line with our customers' evolving spending patterns."
