Actor Jin Seo-yeon says driver denied 'door ding' despite her car shaking

Actor Jin Seo-yeon has shared her frustration after her parked car was struck by a neighboring driver who denied causing any damage.

On Monday, Jin described the incident on her Instagram story. "A truck parked next to my car opened its door and nicked my rear bumper," she wrote. "I had just turned off the engine and was sitting inside — the car shook." She said she stepped out and asked the ajeossi whether he was all right. "He said he was fine. He didn't ask if I was," she added.

Jin said the driver insisted he had not been close enough to make contact. "He kept saying it wasn't possible from where he was positioned. But my seat shook," she wrote. She noted that her car is equipped with six cameras, yet the driver continued to deny any wrongdoing.

Jin said she told him she would not make an issue of it if he simply apologized, but he kept hedging. "He even told me to call the police if I didn't believe him," she wrote. She asked one more time for just an apology, and he eventually obliged. "I got my bow," she said.

Even so, she said the encounter left her unsettled. "My heart feels as sticky and uncomfortable as humid weather," she wrote.

Jin is known for her intense screen presence in films including "Love 911" and "Believer," and has recently been appearing in the stage play "His Mother."
