Gwangju University's education counseling department signs MOU with 26 youth training facilities in South Jeolla Province

The Department of Education and Counseling at Gwangju University (President Kim Dong-jin) signed a memorandum of understanding with 26 youth training facilities across South Jeolla Province on Friday, the university announced. The South Jeolla Province Youth Activity Promotion Center organized the agreement, which covers field practicum operations for youth program instructors.

The department pursued the MOU to proactively and systematically prepare for a mandatory field practicum requirement taking effect under a 2027 overhaul of the youth instructor certification system. It had already signed a similar agreement with major youth organizations in Gwangju in April, and the latest MOU solidifies a field practicum network spanning both Gwangju and South Jeolla Province.
