Gyeongil University AI unit hosts women's business alliance networking day

The AI Convergence Specialist Training Project Unit at Gyeongil University held a "Women's Business Alliance Networking Day" on June 24 at the North Gyeongsang Province chapter of the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association in Gumi.

North Gyeongsang Province organized the event, which was co-hosted by North Gyeongsang Technopark and Gyeongil University's AI Convergence Specialist Training Project Unit, to discuss ways to connect local talent with employment opportunities. About 20 people attended, including member companies of the North Gyeongsang chapter of the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association and project officials.

Participants discussed ways to strengthen AI competitiveness among local businesses and improve employment pathways for local talent.

The event featured case studies on AI-driven content creation by women-led businesses, along with an exchange of views on demand for digital promotion and marketing in the workplace and the direction of industry-tailored talent development.

Participants particularly agreed that AI-based content creation capabilities are becoming a core factor in securing business competitiveness.

Woo Dong-gyeong, head of the AI Convergence Specialist Training Project Unit, said the networking day "was a meaningful occasion to lay the groundwork for collaboration between local women-led businesses and the university, with AI as the common thread for shared growth."
