TeraWulf, a US AI infrastructure operator, said Monday it has signed a 20-year data center lease agreement with AI startup Anthropic.

In a statement, TeraWulf said the leased facility is the Justified Data campus in Horse Cave, Kentucky.

According to the company, the first data center on the campus is set to begin operation in the second half of next year, with plans to expand total power capacity to 401 megawatts by early 2028.

TeraWulf said it expects to generate approximately $19 billion in lease revenue over the initial lease term.

Anthropic, which has been grappling with a shortage of AI computing resources, earlier leased more than 220,000 graphics processing units of computing capacity at the Colossus1 data center in Memphis, Tennessee, owned by SpaceX.
