Suwon to host 2nd Social Economy Fair through Thursday

Suwon city said Monday it is hosting the 2nd Suwon Special City Social Economy Fair through Thursday.

The fair brings together social enterprises, cooperatives, community businesses and self-reliance enterprises to share visions and policies for the social economy and open new sales channels for their products.

The event kicks off with an opening ceremony Wednesday at 2 p.m., followed by a social economy forum, a self-reliance day commemoration, a self-reliance competition, and exhibition, sales and hands-on experience booths.

Participants will discuss the direction and cooperation strategies for developing the social economy, while the self-reliance competition will showcase outstanding achievements by self-reliance business groups. Visitors can try and purchase products from social economy enterprises and self-reliance business groups.
