Daegu Happiness Foundation to stage children's musical 'Sia and Friends: Treasure Hunters'

The Daegu City Happiness Foundation announced Tuesday that it will stage the children's musical "Sia and Friends: Treasure Hunters" at the Kkoekkori Theater inside Daegu Children's World on Aug. 1, with performances at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The production is a selected work from the "2026 ACC Children's Performance Retail Competition," organized by the Asia Culture Center Foundation (ACC).

The event is designed to give local children and families access to high-quality original cultural and arts performances that are rarely available in the region.

"Sia and Friends: Treasure Hunters" follows a protagonist named Sia and five animal companions on an adventure to find precious treasures from across Asia.

The show features signature characters from the ACC Children's Culture Center — among them Goni the dragon from Northeast Asia, Peri the parrot from Central Asia, and Kali the jackal from West Asia — in a vibrant stage production.

The performance runs approximately 50 minutes and is open to children aged 36 months and older. Tickets are 20,000 won ($13) for all seats and can be booked through Ticket Link, Naver and other platforms.
