The Korea Newspaper and Broadcasting Editors' Association Fund announced Tuesday that it is accepting applications for its 2026 visiting professor program from retired members.
The program selects one retired member each year and provides 30 million won ($19,900) in lecture fees over a one-year term.
Launched in 2021, the program aims to pass on the knowledge and experience veteran journalists accumulated over long careers in the field to younger generations, contributing to the development of national talent.
Applications are open through Aug. 31, and the selected recipient will be announced on the association's official website in late September following a review. Further details are available on the association's website.
