Choi Hong-man reveals Seoul home packed with Hello Kitty decor and a stocked food pantry

Choi Hong-man, the 2.17-meter-tall former kickboxer, is set to reveal his Seoul home for the first time — and it is filled with Hello Kitty.

The MBC variety show "Jeonjijeogin Chamgyeon Sijeom," airing Saturday, will show the new Seoul residence Choi recently set up to manage his growing schedule. Choi had previously been based in Jeju.

The bedroom is the first thing to catch the eye. Bedding, stuffed toys and everyday household items are all adorned with Hello Kitty, reflecting his personal taste throughout.

A separate food storage room is stocked floor to ceiling with snacks, instant rice and bottled water.

Choi also hosts a housewarming party at the new home, tying on a small apron that barely covers his frame before heading into the kitchen to cook.

Things do not go smoothly from the start. His large fingers make it a struggle just to turn on the induction cooktop, and he has to kneel to reach the low counter. He pushes through nonetheless, preparing a soy-marinated crab stew made with bone broth and marinated crab, along with inari sushi, to complete the housewarming spread.

Choi's Seoul lifestyle will be featured on MBC's "Jeonjijeogin Chamgyeon Sijeom," airing Saturday at 11:10 p.m.
