AceBed launches new Tango bed with arched headboard design

AceBed announced Monday the launch of its new Tango bed.

The Tango combines a classic design with contemporary colors and materials, featuring a headboard made up of three arched panels arranged in a continuous sequence. The repeating curved forms add depth to the bedroom. The bed is available in two sizes: king and large king.

It comes in black and burgundy. The design pairs high-gloss molding with fabric upholstery, with the fabric featuring a houndstooth pattern woven from two colors of thread. A basic water-repellent finish makes the surface easy to keep clean.

Practicality was also a priority. The frame's back panel is supported by solid wood posts in an open structure. The underside of the frame sits approximately 130 millimeters above the floor, leaving enough clearance for a standard robot vacuum to pass through.

The Tango also incorporates AceBed's "two mattress system," in which dedicated springs inside the lower foundation absorb and distribute the load and impact placed on the upper mattress, providing stable support for the body.

AceBed is also releasing a matching nightstand designed for use alongside the Tango. The nightstand comes in the same black and burgundy colorways and features a slim, circular design.

The bed industry has seen a growing number of products aimed at consumers who want the bed frame itself to serve as an interior design element, not just a platform for the mattress. Particularly among larger bed models, manufacturers are differentiating materials, colors and headboard designs while factoring in maintenance convenience such as robot vacuum compatibility, and that product category continues to expand.
