Housing exhibition center to open in Namyangju's Byeollae-dong
Korea Land and Housing Corporation announced Thursday that it will launch a public pre-sale of 792 units at the Yangju Hoecheon A-26BL public housing complex.
The 792 units are divided into three sizes: 394 units with an exclusive use area of 59 square meters, 168 units at 74 square meters and 230 units at 84 square meters — all mid-to-small floor plans that tend to draw strong demand from end-users.
The units feature a four-bay layout and efficient storage design to maximize livable space, and the range of floor plans is intended to accommodate a broad spectrum of buyers, from young singles and newlyweds to families with children.
The pre-sale price is approximately 13 million won ($9,390) per 3.3 square meters, with average prices of around 350 million won for the 59-square-meter type, around 430 million won for the 74-square-meter type and around 480 million won for the 84-square-meter type — levels the corporation described as reasonable compared with nearby market prices.
The A-26 block sits within the Yangju Hoecheon district, within 500 meters on foot of Deokjeong Station, where the GTX-C metropolitan express rail line is set to open, giving the complex strong public transit access.
Momentum behind the GTX-C project has been building, raising expectations for improved regional transport around Deokjeong Station. Once the line opens, key Seoul destinations — including Cheongnyangni Station and Samsung Station — will be reachable within 30 minutes, adding a metropolitan rail network on top of the existing Line 1 commuter corridor.
By road, the complex will also be convenient: the Buk-Yangju interchange, about 1 kilometer away, connects to the Metropolitan Area Second Ring Expressway, and proximity to the Sejong-Pocheon Expressway, National Route 3 and the planned Seoul-Yangju Expressway will allow quick access to Yangju, Seoul, Uijeongbu, Paju, Namyangju and other nearby cities.
The complex is expected to draw residents seeking both established lifestyle infrastructure from neighboring districts and the amenities of a new town, as well as easy access to nature in a forested setting well suited to raising children.
The adjacent Yangju Deokjeong and Okjeong districts already have commercial and education facilities in place, meaning residents will be able to use them from the day they move in. Urban infrastructure within the new district itself is also being built out in phases, allowing residents to enjoy the advantages of both an established neighborhood and a newly developed housing zone.
A green corridor and pedestrian environment centered on the Cheongdam Stream runs alongside the complex, with nearby parks also within easy reach. Cheonbosan, Bulgoksan and Dokbawi Park are all close by.
The Deokjeong district borders the complex to the east, giving residents immediate access to an already well-established school zone, while a new elementary school and kindergarten are planned to the south within the Hoecheon district, further cementing the complex's appeal for families.
Special supply applications will be accepted Sept. 14–15, followed by general supply applications Sept. 16–17. Winners will be announced in October, contracts signed in December, and move-in is scheduled for October 2029.
A housing exhibition center will also operate in Byeollae-dong, Namyangju, to provide prospective buyers with information about the units and pre-sale consultations.
Meanwhile, Korea Land and Housing Corporation said Wednesday it will also launch a public pre-sale of 463 units at the A-2 block of the Uijeongbu Ujeong public housing district.
