Innocean announced Monday that it has signed burger chain Five Guys as new advertising clients in the United States, the world‘s largest ad market.

Canvas Worldwide, Innocean‘s US media subsidiary, was recently selected as Five Guys’ media agency of record in the United States. Founded in 1986, Five Guys currently operates about 1,500 stores across the country.

Canvas will handle integrated media strategy, media planning and buying, data analytics and performance measurement for Five Guys to support the brand‘s growth.

Canvas was also selected as the media agency for California Lottery, the state-run lottery program.

Canvas also completed its own office move last month, shifting its LA base from Playa Vista to El Segundo. With D&G — already headquartered in El Segundo — now joined by both IUS and Canvas, all three of Innocean‘s major US companies are in one location, raising expectations for greater synergy.

El Segundo is home to a wide range of IT and ad-tech companies. Unlike the software-focused Silicon Beach area, it has emerged as a rising hub for robotics, physical AI and deep tech startups, combining defense and aerospace infrastructure with a growing technology ecosystem.
