Event to connect students, graduates and local youth with top employers
Korea Maritime and Ocean University announced Monday that it will hold its 2026 KMOU Job Fair on Sept. 10 at the first and fourth floors of the library annex and in outdoor spaces on campus.
The fair is open not only to current students and graduates but also to young job seekers from the broader Busan area. It is designed to strengthen job-seeking skills among young people and facilitate direct employment connections between candidates and companies.
Participating organizations will span national agencies, local governments, public institutions and leading companies across shipbuilding, maritime, logistics, finance and IT. Attendees can review hiring information from each organization and speak directly with recruiters to get specific details on job roles and application processes.
The fair will offer one-on-one recruitment consultations with company HR managers, company-specific hiring presentations and mentoring sessions with alumni working in relevant fields. These programs are intended to help participants gain firsthand insight into the job market and sharpen their career and employment strategies.
Alongside these sessions, a range of experiential side programs will be available — including personal color consultations, caricature drawings, tarot-based career readings and natural herb aromatherapy workshops — to help participants enjoy the event in a relaxed atmosphere.
Through the fair, the university aims to strengthen employment links between local youth and companies and institutions, offering young people a wider range of job opportunities while giving employers a chance to discover talented graduates from the region.
