Hiring windows set for March, June, September and December
Lotte Group launched its "predictable rolling recruitment" program Tuesday, setting fixed hiring windows in March, June, September and December so applicants can plan their job searches in advance.
Fifteen affiliates are taking part in the current round, including Lotte Department Store, Lotte Wellfood, Lotte Engineering & Construction and Lotte Innovate. The group will hire in the hundreds across more than 50 job categories spanning sales, marketing, research and development, and AI.
Particular emphasis has been placed on securing talent to drive the group's AI transformation. Lotte Innovate and Lotte Engineering & Construction will recruit AI specialists in areas including natural language processing, computer vision, speech processing and research and development.
Through Tuesday, Lotte is holding job fairs at 12 universities nationwide, including Seoul National University, Sungkyunkwan University, Yonsei University, Sogang University, Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) and Korea University. Twenty affiliates are participating — among them Lotte Wellfood, Lotte Mart & Super, Lotte Properties, Lotte Hotels & Resorts, Lotte Biologics and Lotte Engineering & Construction. Current employees will attend to share insights on the hiring process and tips for landing a job.
The group is also expanding its outreach to young talent outside Seoul. Lotte Energy Materials and Lotte Fine Chemical will hold job fairs at UNIST and Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, while Lotte Department Store will visit universities in the Chungcheong, Honam and Yeongnam regions for recruitment information sessions.
"We will broaden our connections with young talent across the country and discover the people who will lead the group forward," a Lotte Group official said.
