Yeongyang-gun holds anti-corruption pledge rally for civil servants

Yeongyang-gun in North Gyeongsang Province held a "2026 Yeongyang-gun Civil Servant Anti-Corruption and Integrity Pledge Rally" for all staff at the county office's main conference room on Tuesday.

Staff members read aloud a declaration of integrity, pledging to uphold the law and principles and to take the lead in preventing corruption.

They also shared their commitment to building a culture of integrity through a placard performance expressing their resolve to practice anti-corruption and ethical conduct.

Yeongyang-gun said it intends to treat the rally not as a one-off event but as an opportunity for public officials to reflect on the meaning and responsibility of integrity, and to further spread an organizational culture in which integrity is practiced in day-to-day work.

"Through this rally, I will ensure that all public officials practice integrity in their daily lives and build a Yeongyang-gun that earns greater trust from residents through fair and transparent administration," County Mayor Oh Do-chang said.
