HS Hwasung held a ceremony Tuesday to mark its 68th founding anniversary, gathering employees at a conference hall on the seventh floor of its headquarters.
The event was livestreamed on YouTube channel "Park Dream TV" so that employees working on-site could take part, allowing all staff to share in the occasion in real time.
The ceremony also honored long-serving employees and outstanding staff. A total of 22 employees received commendations and gold commemorative coins — eight with 30 years of service, nine with 20 years and five with 10 years — along with bonus leave and vacation allowances.
Seven employees were also recognized as model workers, selected from across divisions for contributions in areas including operational improvement, research, external activities and workplace safety. Each received a commendation and a cash award.
Chairman Lee Jong-won said HS Hwasung had grown over the past 68 years into a leading regional company, supplying about 86,000 housing units nationwide and taking on major projects that built up its technical capabilities and competitiveness. "Even amid a challenging domestic and international environment, we will continue to improve our business portfolio and expand beyond the region into the Greater Seoul area and global markets," he said.
