LIG D&A launches large-scale recruitment drive for second half of 2026

LIG D&A announced Wednesday that it will launch a large-scale open recruitment drive in the second half of 2026, hiring in the triple digits.

The company is seeking candidates across its missile systems, maritime, satellite, AI and cybersecurity divisions. Specific roles include hardware engineers, software engineers and mechanical research and development staff, as well as positions in domestic and international project management, quality control and business support.

The selection process will proceed through a document screening and competency assessment, followed by a software coding test for software roles, department-level interviews and a final leadership interview. In addition, LIG D&A plans to conduct campus recruiting at 32 universities across the country.

As of the first half of this year, LIG D&A had 5,986 employees — up about 26 percent from two years ago — with research and development staff accounting for roughly 60 percent of the total workforce.

The company offers a range of family-friendly programs, including a flexible work-hours system that lets employees adjust their schedules to fit work demands, a "Refresh" leave program that provides vacation subsidies when employees take three or more consecutive days off, and a Family Day event that invites employees' families to the workplace.

New hires and interns may apply through the LIG D&A recruitment website until Sept. 13, while experienced candidates can apply from Thursday through Sept. 27. Detailed job descriptions for each position are available in the "Recruiting Book" on the recruitment website.

"We are actively working to bring in key talent who will lead the development of advanced defense technologies — including AI and cybersecurity — to secure an edge in the future battlefield environment," a company official said. "We will continue to expand our recruiting programs, including corporate invitation events."
