Former Stella member Minhee to wed in September

Minhee, a former member of the girl group Stella, is getting married Sept. 12.

On Tuesday, Minhee shared wedding photos on her Instagram to announce the news.

"Some of you may have heard the news through media reports first, so I wanted to reach out carefully and share it myself," she wrote.

She then said she had "met a warm and wonderful person who makes me feel most at ease and brings out my laughter, and we have decided to spend our lives together."

"Some of you may be surprised by the sudden news, and I feel a little shy sharing something like this after such a long time — but I am truly grateful for all the warm congratulations," she said.

She added, "If there is anyone I was not able to reach out to personally, I hope you will understand, and please feel free to contact me first — I would be so happy and grateful to hear from you."

"A new beginning — I will live beautifully and happily. I will cherish your warm wishes for a long time," she said.

Minhee made her debut with Stella in 2011. The group launched its career with "Rocket Girl" and went on to gain recognition with songs including "Marionette," "Twinkle Twinkle" and "Cry" before disbanding in 2018. Since the group's disbandment, Minhee has kept in touch with fans through social media.
