Yojin Construction awards bonus to Shin Da-in after back-to-back KG Ladies Open title

Yojin Construction Industries announced Wednesday that it had presented a congratulatory bonus to Shin Da-in, a member of the Yojin Construction Golf Team, following her victory at the KLPGA's 15th KG Ladies Open.

A ceremony held Tuesday at Yojin Construction's headquarters in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, was attended by Vice Chairman Choi Eun-sang, CEOs Song Seon-ho and Jeong Chan-uk, team director Kim Seon-gyu, and other company officials.

Shin won the tournament Sunday with a total score of 17-under-par 271. She delivered a dominant performance in the final round, including five consecutive birdies, to become the first player to win the event back-to-back since its founding in 2011.

"We recruited Shin Da-in after recognizing her growth potential — she had been competing on tour last year without a main sponsor," a Yojin Construction official said. "Her winning in her first year with the team, and in the meaningful year of the company's 50th anniversary, is a significant achievement for both the team and the player."

The Yojin Construction Golf Team operates on the principle of identifying promising players and providing long-term support so they can develop their skills in a stable environment.

That approach has produced results. The team has delivered KLPGA Tour winners in each of the past five years, accumulating seven victories in total. Hong Ji-won started the run in 2022, followed by Hong and Seo Yeon-jeong in 2023, Noh Seung-hee with three wins across 2024 and 2025, and Shin this year.

"I am especially pleased that Shin Da-in achieved the feat of winning the tournament back-to-back for the first time in its history," team director Kim Seon-gyu said. "Having produced a KLPGA Tour winner for five consecutive years, we will continue to build a competitive team that grows consistently alongside our players."

Meanwhile, Yojin Construction marks its 50th anniversary this year. The golf team was established in 2010 as part of the company's social contribution efforts to nurture talented players who would lead the future of women's golf in Korea. Shin Da-in, Hong Ji-won and Seo Yeon-jeong currently compete under the Yojin Construction Golf Team banner.
