Jongno-gu held an opening ceremony Wednesday for its Seoul-style kids cafe, Sodam Nuri Playground, located at 62 Dongmangsan-gil.
The facility incorporates traditional Korean play culture — including net playgrounds and courtyard play areas — to give children new play experiences while evoking childhood memories for adults. It serves children from infancy through age 9. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 9:10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
"We will continue to expand play spaces so that children can enjoy a variety of play and cultural experiences close to their everyday lives," Jongno-gu District Mayor Yoo Chan-jong said.
