LG HelloVision's web variety show 'Jisangnyeol's Agami' to expand to Busan, Daegu

LG HelloVision's web variety show Jisangnyeol's Agami is expanding beyond small-theater performances in the greater Seoul area to venues across the country.

LG HelloVision announced Thursday that the show will begin performing in Busan and Daegu starting in October, with additional cities to follow nationwide.

Jisangnyeol's Agami is an audience-participation talk show in which comedians Ji Sang-ryeol and Kim Seung-jin listen to audience members share their worries and personal stories. Scenes from the live performances are edited into YouTube entertainment content and released online.

The show held its first performance in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, in June, followed by performances in Insadong, Seoul, in July and August. Cumulative views across the show's YouTube and Instagram content have surpassed 7.3 million, according to LG HelloVision.

The company plans to expand performances to Busan, Daegu and other cities from October, increasing the number of live events where the show meets local audiences directly and linking those performances to online content.

The show is also broadening its content formats. In addition to its regular live talk show, it has launched a spin-off called Jisangnyeol's Agamiting, a variety program targeting audiences in their 20s and 30s that centers on romance, drinks and conversation.

"The charm of this content is the raw, unfiltered laughter created together with audiences on a small stage," said Nam Sang-ho, the show's producer. "Building on the connection we've made with audiences in the greater Seoul area, we'll be heading directly to audiences in Busan, Daegu and beyond starting next month, and we look forward to continuing warm and lively conversations on the road."
