Nowon-gu held its "9th Elected Term Nowon Vision Sharing Event" Thursday afternoon at the small auditorium on the sixth floor of the district office.
The event was organized to share the district administration's vision and key policy directions for the ninth elected term with staff, recognize employees who contributed to the district's development, and build a shared understanding of policy goals while reinvigorating the organization.
The gathering opened with a commendation ceremony honoring employees who contributed to the district's progress, followed by a presentation of the vision and major priorities for Nowon-gu under the ninth elected term, and concluded with an open dialogue between the district mayor and staff.
A highlight was a candid exchange between District Mayor Seo and employees, stepping outside formal structures to share concerns and varied perspectives from the field as they mapped out a new path forward for Nowon in the ninth elected term.
"The role of each and every employee is paramount in creating change that residents can feel," Seo said. "Throughout the ninth elected term, I will keep communicating with our staff as we build a better Nowon together."
