EXO member Kai opened up about his struggles with stock investing.
A new video from the YouTube channel "ootb STUDIO" was posted Thursday under the title "Completely bombed a Google presentation in front of 200 people [extracurricular activity]," featuring content from the group "Jeonggwaja."
The video shows Kai taking part in an extracurricular program as a Google student ambassador.
When told he would be participating in an activity with a major conglomerate, Kai said Samsung Electronics and SK hynix immediately came to mind. "I'm dying right now. Why did you drag me into this? Why me?" he said, directing his frustration at the production crew.
The crew asked whether he had "gotten out" of his Samsung Electronics shares, to which Kai replied, "They said it would hit 5 million won ($3,650). My heart needs an ambulance right now. It's a disaster," expressing his distress over the losses.
While greeting student participants at the event, Kai met a 22-year-old who mentioned having been involved in Samsung-related extracurricular activities for seven or eight years.
Impressed to hear the participant had been active since middle school, Kai asked, "Then can you save my Samsung shares?"
When the participant hesitated and said, "Me too, a little," Kai shot back, "You're stuck too?" — drawing laughs with their shared misery.
