LH Daegyeong branch takes families of people with disabilities to pro baseball game

The Korea Land and Housing Corporation's Daegyeong branch, in partnership with the North Gyeongsang Province Disabled Sports Association, invited 120 people with disabilities and their families from Gyeongsan to a professional baseball game Wednesday as part of a corporate social responsibility initiative.

The event was organized to give families of people with disabilities — who often face limited access to cultural and sports activities due to mobility constraints and financial burdens — a chance to enjoy a leisure outing.

Participants cheered on their team alongside family members, sharing conversation and energy in a break from their daily routines.

Lee Seong-ho, secretary general of the North Gyeongsang Province Disabled Sports Association, thanked the LH Daegyeong branch for consistently supporting the improvement of sports welfare for people with disabilities in the region since 2016, adding that the association would continue expanding opportunities for people with disabilities to engage with society through sports and lead healthy lives.

Oh Seong-jun, acting head of the LH Daegyeong branch, said watching families laugh and cheer together reaffirmed the vitality and spirit of sharing that sports can bring. He pledged to continue working closely with the local community on social contribution activities aimed at improving cultural access and welfare for families of people with disabilities.
