Sono ties autumn getaways to local attractions
Package available at 9 properties through October
Hotel travel map highlighting fall spots also released
A new stay-and-explore travel package combining resort accommodation with nearby autumn attractions has been launched for the fall season, linking lodging with cultural festivals and natural scenery to offer travelers added convenience.
Sono International announced Friday the launch of its "Early Autumn Break" package, which lets guests at Sono Hotels & Resorts properties across the country enjoy nearby fall destinations and festivals while taking advantage of in-house amenities including breakfast, saunas and other facilities.
The package is available at Sol Beach Jindo and Namhae, Sono Calm Goyang, Yeosu and Jeju, Sono Belle Cheongsong, Jeju and Yangpyeong, and Sono Moon Haeundae. It includes one night's accommodation, a 20 percent discount voucher for a breakfast buffet or brunch for up to four guests, a 50 percent discount voucher for hot spring or sauna access for up to four guests, and a seasonal limited-edition beverage for two.
The seasonal beverages are crafted each month using local specialty ingredients. September's lineup features an Icheon rice latte, an ube KREAM Icheon rice latte and an Icheon rice smoothie with soybean powder, while October's offerings include a Cheongdo persimmon sikhye and a Cheongdo persimmon juice.
The package goes on sale through Sept. 13, with stays available through Oct. 18.
In addition to the package, Sono International released a "Sono Autumn Travel Map" highlighting fall attractions and festivals near its hotels and resorts nationwide.
The map features top destinations where visitors can take in autumn foliage, silver grass and coastal scenery near the company's properties. Key spots include Palbongsan near Vivaldi Park, Seoraksan near Delpino, Bijarim Forest near Sono Belle Jeju, Dutasan and Mureung Valley near Sol Beach Samcheok, Juwangsan National Park near Sono Belle Cheongsong, and Geumsan and Boriam near Sol Beach Namhae.
The map also covers major regional autumn festivals, led by the Gyeongju Silla Cultural Festival — held near Sono Calm Gyeongju, which overlooks the autumn foliage around Bomun Lake — along with the Danyang Ondal Cultural Festival near Sono Belle Danyang, the Namhae German Village Beer Festival near Sol Beach Namhae and the Yangyang Pine Mushroom and Salmon Festival near Sol Beach Yangyang.
Full details are available on the Sono Hotels & Resorts website.
"We have put together a package full of benefits alongside a map of autumn attractions and festivals for customers planning fall trips," a Sono International official said. "We hope guests will create cherished memories with their families and loved ones at Sono Hotels & Resorts."
