Damyang-gun in South Jeolla Province is holding a special hometown-love donation event from Sept. 7 through Sept. 30 in celebration of chuseok.
The first 100 donors who contribute 100,000 won ($74) or more to Damyang-gun will each receive a 4-kilogram bag of freshly harvested 2026 "Unsudaetong" rice.
Donors will also receive free admission for one year from the date of their donation to major public tourism sites in the county, including Juknokwon bamboo garden, Soswaewon garden, the Metasequoia Road, the Bamboo Museum and Hanjae Valley Arboretum.
