Cheongsong-gun chief inspects preparations for 20th Cheongsong Apple Festival

Cheongsong-gun County Chief Yun Gyeong-hui held an expanded executive meeting Monday at the site of the 20th Cheongsong Apple Festival, which is scheduled to run from Nov. 4 to Nov. 8 along the Yongjeoncheon stream in Cheongsong-eup.

The meeting focused on overall festival operations, measures to improve visitor convenience and safety management plans.

After the meeting, Yun toured the festival grounds to check the readiness of key facilities — including visitor amenities, hands-on experience areas and parking lots — and closely reviewed on-site safety management measures to prevent accidents.

"The Cheongsong Apple Festival is the signature festival of Cheongsong-gun, so we must prepare meticulously until the very end to ensure both residents and tourists come away satisfied," Yun said. "Above all, please put safety first and be thorough in conducting checks across every area and addressing any shortcomings."
