Booking.com launches first '11.11 Super Sale' with at least 30% off

A promotional event offering discounts of at least 30% on participating accommodations worldwide is set to launch, targeting budget-conscious travelers amid slowing economic growth and elevated prices.

Travel platform Booking.com said Thursday it will hold its first "11.11 Super Sale" across the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions. The promotion runs for eight days from Nov. 9 through Nov. 16, offering a minimum 30% discount on participating properties.

The discount applies to bookings with check-in dates from Nov. 9 and check-out dates through Dec. 31, 2027. Reservations must be completed by 11 p.m. Nov. 16 (Korean Standard Time). Eligible properties worldwide are marked with an "11.11" label on Booking.com's search results and room selection pages. Depending on each property's booking terms, free cancellation and pay-later options may also be available.

The promotion is designed to meet demand from Asia-Pacific travelers. According to a Booking.com survey, 57 percent of Korean travelers said travel is an important part of their lives, while 26 percent said they only travel when they can afford it. Some 70 percent of Korean travelers said they would be willing to adjust their travel dates or destinations to take advantage of better prices.

With the discount period extending through the end of 2027, travelers can plan everything from weekend getaways to extended vacations.

Participating properties in South Korea include L7 Haeundae by Lotte Hotel in Busan, as well as L7 Hongdae by Lotte Hotel, Orakai Insadong Suites, Hotel The Botanic Sewoon Myeongdong and Crown Park Hotel Seoul Myeongdong in Seoul.

Meanwhile, discount rates may vary by country. The discount applies only to room rates and excludes additional service charges and taxes. Modifying a reservation may void the discount and result in standard rates being applied, and rooms listed under "partner specials" are not eligible for the promotion.
